URBAN AGRICULTURE TO FEED THE POPULATION OF ADDIS ABEBA, ETHIOPIA
In 2000, 51,000 families lived in urban agriculture in Addis Ababa in Ethiopia. Significant development in recent years of urban agriculture, which meets the food needs of poorest populations. But how to allow small producers to conserve these lands facing industrial and real estate issues?
This study was initiated to identify key stakeholders, then analyze and evaluate the positions, interests, and relationships of key players in urban agriculture.
The aim is to understand the influence of different actors on the development of urban agriculture and characterize the systems in the study area.
